As a family we got out of the house and walked the short loop at the bird refuge in Nisqually. we saw over 10 eagles and a blue sky (Pictures below to prove that you can have a blue sky in December in WA) but it was cold~~ As you can see by how bundled up we were but the boys had fun getting out and running around. No complaints from them!!

We Miss Sierra!!!! - Dec 28 2009
What Aunt's Are For?
We loved having Sierra home from school starting in July through December and we are all missing her a lot. I just wanted to share a small moment of the memories we made having her home with us. The boys loved her and loved the fact that she would wrestle with them, throw pillows at them (Colby loved it too) and carry or drag as the case maybe around!!!

Enjoying Their Loot!
Colin and Conner got right to business Saturday morning enjoying the presents they received. Colin took to his legos like a pro, and Conner enjoyed his leapster that I got for him. Though I have to give credit to my Sister Joy for spotting them on Sale for me back in July in Pittsburgh, so I payed less then half the price. Thanks Joy!!!!

Christmas Day ~ 2009
Christmas Day!
For Christmas Eve the boys all got to sleep in Grandma's room and woke up around 6:30am. We all gathered upstairs and read scriptures before coming down to see what Santa brought. We opened Stockings first and then had breakfast. Sierra had to work at Panorama from 8am-noon so we decided to do family presents after she came home. And it also gave Hava and Brigg a chance to go over to the Turner's house for Christmas morning also. It was a great idea, the boys got to enjoy their Santa presents all morning and then have time in the afternoon to enjoy everything else. So without further ado, Christmas Day!!!

So Tired~ Dec 23 2009
Just a few More Days......
There has been so much go go go....that we decided to just take it easy on the 23rd. Hava and Brigg went over to the Turner's house. David, Sierra and Grandma were out doing Christmas stuff. So I turned on some children's shows while I cleaned up lunch and this is what I came back too. He hasn't ever just fallen asleep on the couch he normally fights it until I lay him down!!

Family Bowling - December 22, 2009
Tuesday we went Bowling as a family, the boys were so excited because they hadn't ever been. We were lucky we went in the afternoon and had the bowling alley to ourselves.
Colby is to small to even pick up the smallest ball but he sure did enjoy trying and watching! We had to stop him from following the ball down the lane.
Colin took right too it, he tried holding the ball with the three holes even though he wasn't quite strong enough. But he made it work for him. He even watched the score and could tell us how many points everyone had. He is getting so smart and growing so much.
Conner took to pushing the ball down that lane as hard as he could. He normally would then just turn around and walk away. By the end we got him to realize that he should watch the ball. As you can see he got comfortable doing that.
David and I showing off that we know how to hold a bowling ball. And our pearly whites! It was great having him home.
Seeing Hava and Brigg was awesome. I forgot how fun and crazy it is when hanging out with them. Hava and Colby became close pals quite quickly, much to Sierra's surprise. Sierra warned Hava that it will take him a while to warm up. But all it took was some tickling and wrestling and he was hooked.
And of course Grandma Sweetheart, cheering everyone on and cuddling up with her grandbabies. Just so you know Conner was cold and didn't take his coat of the whole time....silly boy!
