Dairy Queen ~ April 24, 2010

We finally made it to Dairy Queen for our semiannual trip after General Conference. This is such a great tradition that both my boys and I enjoy. They earned Dairy Queen by listening to Conference and drawing pictures. As they get older they will take notes. It was something my parents did with my siblings and I. They got to choose whatever they wanted. I helped Colby out!!

A different View of Seattle ~ April 16, 2010

Sierra had Spring Break the week after Colin and we mostly just hung out around the house for some good old family time. But we did make it up to Seattle for the day, we actually detoured from our regular stops up there. Havalah had gone to this beach with a great view of Seattle and we decided to try to find it ourselves. It is called Alki Beach and it was a great place to go. First we got some great pictures with the view of Seattle and then got to play on the beach, ok a Washington Beach but we take what we can get here. Then of course we went over to the Pier and had Ivar's a Seattle Tradition and then took Sierra to the Fremont Troll. Yes, Seattle does have a troll and it does live under a bridge. I love Seattle!

Spring Break - Seattle Fun Fair ~ April 7th 2010

So I realized that I am falling farther and farther behind because of my grand plans to scrapbook as I go....and taking 15 credits didn't help. So I am going to go ahead and post some of the activities that we have done over the last few months, so I can be caught up with present day. I am not taking classes this summer and this next week is finals so expect more from me.

Seattle Center Fun Fair

We had planned on doing a short over night trip some where with our good friends the Kohler's but as it turned out Spring Break had no spring to it. Just rain and cold. So we looked on the internet and found out about the Seattle Center Fun Fair. In the middle of the food court they set up over 10 huge bounce houses, for lack of a better term. They had slides, obstacle courses, giant gumball machine to jump in and many others. The boys loved it, and it was a great way to get energy out. The fun part was trying to find Colby in the obstacle courses, he would just go. Luckily there really wasn't any where for him to escape too. It was a blast!! And we are glad we went with the Kohler's it is always fun talking with Sarah. I wish I had gotten better pictures but there was so much going on.
