This what we call his "burrito" sadly he has grown out of it this last month but it was great while it lasted. The reason why he was on the counter is because we were about to walk out the door and we were trying to get stuff together.

Colby 8 Months - Jan. 27th 2009
I thought I better do an update on Colby. He is all ready 9 months and wanted to add some 8 months shots. He started crawling at 8 months just like his brother but he is all ready walking along the couch and more then ready to walk. Just today he has started letting go and standing on his own for a few seconds. There is no encouragement from me at all. His tries to follow the boys but ends up in the dust but he just keeps going. Luckly he has been to focused on following them up stairs yet.

Seattle Part 2 - The Aquarium Jan 30 2009
Sorry it has taken me so long to get back to this I have decided that Sunday will be my blogging day. This is the second part of our trip to Seattle the Aquarium. The big boys loved it and even Colby got into the action.

Colby starring at the fish!

I was surprised that he would even care but he would just stare at the fish and then start hitting the tank.

Conner enjoying the tide pools.

He actually would reach in and touch the starfish.
Colin loves these boards every time we see one he insists on a picture.

This is what amazed me the most was the gigantic clam, we even watched it close and open part way.

Colin was so excited to see this Puffer Fish and we stood at the tank for a good 10 mins watching it swim. I always thought they were a lot smaller but this one was huge.

Seattle Part 1 - The Pier Jan. 30 2009
At the end of last month we were able to spend the day up in Seattle. My mom was wonderful and watched the boys outside the temple while my Dad and I did a session. Then we headed down to the pier to enjoy some yummy food from Ivar's (a must have if in Seattle) I love their clam chowder. Then walked down the pier our gaol being the aquarium at the other end. So here are some fun photos I was able to take on the walk down.
Colin always posing.
Aquarium pictures to coming soon.....
One Day Visit - Jan. 15 2009
So way back in January we got a very quick visit from my sister Hava and her husband Brigg. They live in Erie PA where Brigg is attending school to become a Pharmisist. They had a wedding to go to in CA and found that it was cheaper to fly in to Seattle and then drive with Brigg's parents down the coast. Which meant we got to spend one day with them, and I am so grateful for that day. We just sat around a talked and played but it was such a joy to be with them. Colin was upset when it was bed time because he knew they would be gone when he woke up.
Colby had just started scooting and I love this face.

Sunday Best - Jan 2009
Well Conner is a Sunbeam and I am trying to make sure I get pictures of my boys entering primary. Of course Colin had to be included, and Colby is just to cute in Sunday clothes so I have to share all 3 of them.

Colin Age:5 Class: CTR 6
He loves that he is in the CTR 6 class. It makes him feel big.

Conner Age:3 Class: Sunbeam
He had a hard time leaving nursery. He loved playing with toys at church, he is going to primary with out too much fuss now.

Colby Age:7 1/2 months Class: Still with Mom and still taking naps during church! Yeah!

Update
Well after quite a long absence I am trying to update my blog. I have been pretty busy starting school at the Community College here that is had been hard to find time to sit down and share. I am doing 2 online classes which means that I get to stay home with the boys but it also means that any down time I have (nap and bed time) I am doing school work. The good news is that I am farther along in school then I thought. I only have one more quarter at the Community College and I will have my AA. So next fall I will be attending either Evergreen State College or University of Washington at the Tacoma campus. I am planning in getting my bachelors in English with emphasis in Children's literature and minor in photography. I will also get my teachers certificate so I can become an elementary librarian. Well that is what I am up too.
Colin is quite the character. He is my conversationalist. He has so many questions and thoughts that he is just bursting to share everything in his head. Today we had a discussion about him wanting to be the 3rd child. He was convinced that he could be the 3rd and the oldest. He didn't want to be the 1st child, no matter how cool I tried to make it sound. He say the number 3 his is favorite and wants to be the 3rd. I think he understands it just isn't possible but he was sure that being the 1st wasn't cool. He has found a love for what he calls the "little legos", we found a box filled with them that were my brothers. We keep them for times when Colby is asleep so quite time has become lego time for him. He has given Colby the nickname "Colbster" and calls him that quite consistently.
Conner is harder to describe. He is my cuddler, I can't put him to bed without him asking me to sleep with him. He actually snuck in bed with me the other night, normally he is a sound sleeper. He follows Colin almost every where and can do everything Colin can do (at least in his mind). He has a love for animals, he is always helping with my parents dogs and trying to hold the cats. One day I found him in the cat kennel with all the cats. I thought he was locked in but he was holding the door shut so he could pet the cats. They normally don't let him hold them. He also has a mind of his own, he will play Colin's games but doesn't let Colin boss him around.
Colby adores his brothers. He is all ready trying to follow them around. He has been crawling for about 3 weeks and is everywhere. He pulls himself up on everything and his more eager to be on his feet then crawling. I am worried that he will be walking before I am ready. We have one of those big exercise balls and that is his favorite toy, he will crawl anywhere to get to one. Colin and Conner love to push it around so they can make him chase it. He is also very interested in the dogs, he loves watching the big dogs through the back door and petting the dachshunds. Though I try to keep that to a minimum because he is a little rough still. He his very observant and has to see everything.
Well that is life at this time I will be posting pictures of the last month for every one to enjoy!
