Colby 8 Months - Jan. 27th 2009

I thought I better do an update on Colby. He is all ready 9 months and wanted to add some 8 months shots. He started crawling at 8 months just like his brother but he is all ready walking along the couch and more then ready to walk. Just today he has started letting go and standing on his own for a few seconds. There is no encouragement from me at all. His tries to follow the boys but ends up in the dust but he just keeps going. Luckly he has been to focused on following them up stairs yet.

This what we call his "burrito" sadly he has grown out of it this last month but it was great while it lasted. The reason why he was on the counter is because we were about to walk out the door and we were trying to get stuff together.

  2. Fun pictures! I can't believe Colby is already trying to walk...that is so young! What an overachiever!! It's fun when they get more interactive and want to play with their siblings!

  3. I loved the burrito picture. He seems like such a happy guy. It's so amazing to watch them change so fast. It sounds like he will be running with the bigger boys pretty soon.

  4. That's early to be thinking about walking. I can't imagine what it's going to be like with 3 mobile kids. I think you're right in saying that he just wants to keep up with the older boys, so he's figuring it our earlier.
    Good luck!!

  9. It is amazing how they just take off at nine months. It sounds like your boys maybe especially start doing things early. I still look at my twins and expect them to sit in their bumbos or their bouncy chairs. They aren't babies anymore. They're in nursery now - and hating just about every minute of it. :) I'm not! Colby has such red hair.
