Kooza ~ Cirque du Soleil ~ July 1, 2010

KOOZA
Cirque du Soleil
I had the chance to go with some great friends to see a Cirque Du Soleil show up in Renton. It was amazing. There were no pictures allowed in the tent but I do have some of the great ladies I went with.

From Left to Right: Anjuli (me) Rachel Rosado, Lisa Pike and Sarah Kohler
This is at The Cheesecake Factory that we went to before.

In front of the circus tents. It was like I was a kid again. I didn't realize it was in a tent.

I loved the colors and that we all matched the signs.
Again it was amazing, I would go again anytime.

1st Soccer Games ~ June 26, 2010

Conner really did well but he doesn't like the contact with the other players.
He has decided that practice is fun but not the games.

Conner really enjoys half time and so does Colby!!!

Conner's Team, he was upset because he almost made a goal then a kid from the other team picked the ball up with his hands and Conner knows that is not ok.

Colin is loving Soccer and it has been really good for him.
He is more of a defender but as the season has progressed he has started to go after the ball.

Colin cheering his first goal!!

Last Day of Kindergarten ~ June 22, 2010

End of the Year!
Colin finishes Kindergarten!
Yes it is true Colin finished Kindergarten and he did really well. He is reading everything and constantly asking me question about the words that just don't seem to fit. He loves adding numbers and will drive us crazy asking questions. He is ready for first grade. I am really excited for him. His school was brand new this year and because they won't have enough 1st graders to make up 4 complete classes, Colin has been placed in a 1st/2nd grade combined class. When Mrs. Hunter told me I was a little worried. But she reassured me that it will be great for him and that he is more then ready for it. He is really excited to be a first grader and stay all day. I am not sure I am ready, because he will be gone all day and Conner will be starting Kindergarten. I am hoping Conner will get into Mrs Hunter's class because he knows her but she is teaching the one all day Kindergarten class. I can't afford to pay for it but he might be able to test in so we will see in August if Conner will be attending full day or the half day (not really 2 1/2 hours doesn't count). I am not sure I am ready to be home with only one child that is used to having his brothers around to distract him.

Colin and Mrs Hunter

Colin and Lia again. They were great friends.

Colin and I had a Mom and son date after his last day. It was a blast, one of the world cup games was playing and we sat there and watched. He asked so many questions, I found it amazing how much easier it is to answer all of them one on one. Guess I need to do this more often.

First Day of Soccer ~ June 18, 2010

I AM A SOCCER MOM!
AND LOVING IT!
The Boys started Soccer and they are loving it as am I. We have a great group that we play with, both teams are coached by members that we know and have multiple pairs of siblings. Bridget Tilton (that I have know for years and whom we did preschool with) is coaching Conner's Team. And her husband and another Member both named John/Jon are coaching Colin's Team. We love it. We are at the park every Friday night for 2 hours and then Saturday morning they have games. This is from their first practice. More from games soon.

Conner aiming at the goal.

Conner and Chase (from preschool) both tumbling down.

Colin looking like a pro. Ok so I have been teaching him that using the side of the foot works better but I didn't think he was actually listening.

Great form!!

They were so tired after that first practice. Colby had it easy!
All he did was play at the park. Oh and he had a nap!

Kindergarten Performance ~ June 8. 2010

Colin's Kindergarten Performance
They did all these different alphabet songs. Colin has really grown this year and we are so proud of him. He did really well, and is a great example to his brothers. I didn't get many photos because I was actually video taping it the whole time.

All 4 Kindergarten Classes

Colin goofing off.

This is Colin's friend Lia from Church we were so glad that got to be in the same class.
And it was not planned to have them wearing the same color. It just happened.

Abby's 2nd Birthday ~ June 6, 2010

So we were lucky enough to celebrate Abby's 2nd birthday just a little early with her. Colby and Abby are less then a month apart and the best of cousins. We loved Abby she is the sweetest girl and my boys all adore her. Dan with a little help from Britt created a very cute puppy cake for Abby. It was a great day and a great visit.

Colby and Abby, there was lots of hugging.

Dan and Britt with the Puppy cake.

Abby blowing out her candles

Grandma got the kids matching colors to where.
I was messing with some new camera settings so the colors did come out the way I wanted but oh well. We got a picture of them all together.

Tolmie State Park ~ June 5, 2010

We went over to the local "Beach" with Dan, Britt and Abby. Tolmie State Park is right off the Puget Sound and is a typical rocky Washington beach. But the boys enjoyed it and I did too. Ok so I had to strip them to their underwear for the ride home but they are boys and they had fun.

Britt and Abby
Tide was out.

Colby holding my hand and playing in the swallow pools.

Grandma, Colby, Colin and Izzy.

This was after their shoes got covered in mud and we just decided to take them off.

Visit from the Dan Burton Family June 3 - 7, 2010

This visit is going to be a couple post because I took so many cute pictures of my Niece Abby. She is a darling and my boys just love her. It was fun to watch her and Colby learn how to share with each other. They are both in the "Mine" Stage but they did really well.

I babysat so Dan and Britt could go out with my parents and introduced Abby to Toy Story.
I think she is hooked.

Went to the park down by the Pier and I was able to snap this great picture of Abby and Britt.
I love it so of course I had to do it in black and white with a splash of color.

Colby getting dizzy!

Colin getting dizzy.

Colin and Conner convinced Daniel to build Legos with them.
They loved it!!!

Think the boys miss wrestling.

Even Abby got in on the action.
