Colby getting so Big - May 10, 2009

Colby is a monkey!!!!  He has figured out how to climb and he loves it.
He pushed his red car up by the rocking chair and then climbed on it then the rocking chair.
And now less then a month later he can climb up with out the red car.
He also loves playing under the chairs, he slides under and climbs over the bars. Just too funny!

Easter Photo Shoot

So the week before Easter was gorgeous and knowing how Western Washington can be I figured I better take advantage of the sun and do Easter Pictures.  I also knew my boys wouldn't be up for pictures before or right after church since we go at 9 a.m.  So after dinner Sunday I got them all dressed up and we headed over to Tumwater Falls park.  Colin and Conner were actually excited to get dressed up, I had been talking about the easter outfits for weeks and they knew that I had bought them "Newsies" hats just like the ones that the boys wear in the movie "Newsies, which I had just introduced to them.  Amazing enough they kept them on the whole time even Colby!  It was a great day for a walk by the falls and picture taking.  And all the boys did wonderful. We had some trouble getting a shot with me in it but it still was a lot of fun.

Conner

Well since I did a post on just Colin I figured I better do one each of the other boys also.  Conner my middle child and the hardest one to describe.  He is quieter then Colin but has a voice when he wants to share it.  He is my cuddlier, and he is almost 4 years old.  That I can't believe!!! Well I think this picture describes him best!

Great Aunt Holly and Colin

In February my Mom's sister, my Aunt Holly slipped on some ice and hurt her back.  My Mom went down to Utah for a week to help her out and then since she wasn't quite up to being on her own yet so she flew up to spend the week with us.  What a fun time!  She is so much fun to talk with and because she wasn't really mobile, Colin had a captive audience.  She even taught him to play checkers.  She was so patient with him, I think it comes from the 8 kids she had, her youngest being twins.  Oh did I mention that she is a twin herself. I caught the picture of Colin and her play checkers below I love the look of concentration on his face.  He was really trying hard to win so he even forgot to talk!!!!  A rare occurrence!  She didn't just let him win either but made him work for it, which meant it took him losing a bunch first!!!

Snow Day! - February 10, 2009

The weather has been strange here, I don't ever remember having the much snow in February in Western WA.  But the boys loved it!! I know this is over a month ago but school has slowed me down I am on break now and trying to catch up.  The big boys and I spent over 3 hours outside playing and running around.  We even had a snowball fight, it is so much fun to trade snowballs with the boys, they even allowed me to tackle them! I loved it!!!
