Pumpkin Patch #2 - October 22, 2009

Picking Pumpkins!
Unfortunately we never got around to carving them!
Colin knew right away that he wanted this very special pumpkin!
Very Nontraditional I love it!

Conner went with the small pumpkin on the right!
Though he would have taken the large one if he could have carried it!

(Posed Pictures)
I thought I would make two post for the pumpkin patch. One of the posed pictures I made the boys take and another one with the ones of them running around. So here is my attempt at getting good photos of all three boys!

The boys and I, Colin was making a valiant effort trying to get Colby to stay!

This photo actually turned out great! (Except Colin's closed eyes)
I love how Colby is peaking around!

Another of the 3 boys!

Riding the old tractor!! Colby wouldn't let go of that Steering wheel!

I love this picture of Colin and Conner!
Colin had just gotten back from New Hampshire and Conner was so excited to see him!!

What is Fall without a Leaf Pile? - Oct. 19, 2009

LEAVES!

Another activity while Colin was gone! Conner was so excited to make a leaf pile and Grandpa was grateful for the help. This is only about a quarter of leaves that have fallen. I am sure there will be a bigger leaf pile soon!

Conner going for the jump!

Conner working hard to make the leaf pile huge!

Hiding in the leaves!

Even Colby got involved! Don't you love that look!

Conner & Colby - October 14, 2009

Colin spent a week in New Hampshire with his Fry cousins, his oldest cousin Kathryn was baptized. He flew there with Oma Fry and had a blast. While he was there I think Conner had to stretch himself and learned to play with Colby one on one. It was a great experience for him and Colby. It was fun to watch and see the mischief they got into, luckily it was all good mischief!!!!

Colby and Conner practicing with their Light-sabers.

For a young Padawan, Colby actually has the hang of what to do.
And Conner was very careful and patient with him.

Next Conner dressed Colby up in the Knight outfit.
I am not sure Colby could really see but he seemed to enjoy it!

Colby waking up from a Nap and realizing that Conner had taken over as the Knight!

WICKED - Sept. 24 2009

WICKED
So I got the opportunity to go see Wicked in Seattle with a great group of Ladies from our Ward. It was such a fun night and much needed. I have a great group of Ladies that we get together for playgroups and girl's nights. So it was awesome to dress up and really spoil ourselves. We went out to the Cheesecake Factory before the show and then enjoyed an amazing show. I didn't know the music or anything but I had read the book. The musical is different then the book and I really enjoyed it.
For those of you have seen WICKED, the song Defy Gravity has become my Theme Song!

Myself, Sarah and Heather, meeting at the church before we left.

Build & Grow @ Lowes

This summer we discovered Build & Grow sponsored by Lowes. It is a free workshop for children where they can build different things from Kits they provide. Lowes also gives them a work apron, safety goggles and badges for their aprons for each project completed. The big boys went to the first one in July with Grandpa and made wooden boats, and they loved it! So we decided to make a routine of it. Colin spotted a boy with about 15 patches and said "can I build that many things so I have all those patches too?" So we are working on it. It is every 2nd & 4th Saturday and so far we have done 3 projects and can't wait for the next one. The boys have built boats, drums and fire engines and they proudly display and play with them. We have shared our excitement for this opportunity with a few friends and are excited that they have joined us. The pictures below our of two different times, one where we made drums and the other we made fire trucks. We actually had our Friends the Hall's visiting from Ellensburg that weekend and loved having them come with us. Ethan their oldest, is only 2 weeks older then Colin and we have now them sense the boys were 8 months or so.
