Day 6 ~ Timpanogos Caves

I wanted to have everything up to date by the time school arrived. Which happen 2 weeks ago for the boys and this week for me. So here I am taking a break from studying to upload these pictures. On Monday after doing family pictures we hiked up to Timpanogo's Caves. Let me tell you it was not an easy hike, even though the path was paved. And I am glad that we decided to not take Colby on it with us. Grandma was nice enough to put him down for a nap while we were gone. It was a mile and a half up to the caves and it was steep. I am not a hiker and I fulfilled my hikes for the year while in Utah and I was very grateful for the help and encouragement the boys received from David, Sierra, Hava and Brigg, and not to forget Grandpa. The caves were amazing and cool after the hot hike and we all enjoyed them.

Colin in another tunnel.

Brigg, going off the trail to climb rocks.

The View down in to American Fork.

Brigg and Colin, as you can see Brigg was a big help.

The Caves
These pictures don't do the justice.

Our Group, outside the caves.
They keep them sealed off so that there is less deterioration.

  1. My Grandpa used to take us up to the caves when we were younger. I have been wanting to take Ethan. He will be so jealous Colin went. It is such a neat place.

I know I keep saying this but I NEED to make it back over the mountain. Miss you!
